The train takes 3 hours (really 2 hours and 45 minutes). Not as nice as the train, but can be significantly cheaper and the newer buses are pretty comfortable. If I had important work to do, I'd make sure I had my own Hotspot and plenty of data. If you have a car, occasionally parking at the train station probably won't set you back too much. Uber/Lyft work just fine (or at least did pre-pandemic- I have not used them lately so can't say if it's changed). But if you happen to live on the right routes, it might work out nicely. Service to the train station is pretty limited, since it's across the river from the bus hubs.
